Purdue Extension launches new emergency preparedness resource for rural communities

Purdue Extension has launched the Purdue remote crisis Preparedness program (IN-PREP), a statewide system specialized in preparing rural communities for problems and catastrophe relief. The effort will concentrate on many different facets of catastrophe relief, including the dissemination of data, instruction for rural first-responders and instruction of Extension educators. IN-PREP will undoubtedly be represented with a booth on Indiana State Fair in Agriculture Horticulture Building through Aug. 14.
